Description: Tendered by Istanbul Project Coordination Unit (IPCU) within the concept of Seismic Risk Reduction of Istanbul and Preparations of State of Emergency. Being the first hospital of IPCU under this concept, it is constructed in the garden of Umraniye Education and Research Hospital with 484 bed capacity at 98,500 m² closed area. New hospital has 3-storey underground car parking area with 505 car capacity. Latest technology was used in the construction of the hospital building in line with European and Turkish standards. With a patient oriented approach, fresh circulation areas were included and navigational techniques were used. Durable and maintenance-free materials were used.
